pintoo is about real connection. We believe in authenticity, trust, and shared presence. Our goal is to create a space where close friends can share meaningful moments, the places they’re at, and even their live location in a way that feels safe, respectful, and real. Whether you're posting a pin, sharing your location, or commenting on a moment, we want pintoo to be a place that feels personal, positive, and secure.
These Community Guidelines are here to help everyone understand what is—and isn’t—okay on pintoo. They are part of our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy, together referred to as the User Agreement. If you’re not comfortable with these guidelines, pintoo might not be the right space for you.
Our approach is simple: share with care, respect others, and help keep pintoo a space for real, meaningful interaction. If you’re doing something you wouldn’t want someone to do to you, it probably doesn’t belong on pintoo.
Here’s what’s not allowed:
Bullying, Harassment, or Abuse
You may not use pintoo to harass, bully, threaten, or demean others. That includes comments, captions, images, or any other interaction within the app.
Child Exploitation
pintoo has zero tolerance for any content involving child sexual exploitation or abuse. Such content will be immediately removed and reported to the appropriate authorities.
Hate Speech
You may not post content that promotes hate or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected characteristic.
Illegal Activities
You may not use pintoo to promote or facilitate illegal acts, including but not limited to fraud, drug use, or threats of violence.
Intellectual Property Violations
Only share content that you own or have the right to use. Do not post content that infringes on someone else’s intellectual property rights.
Non-Consensual Nudity and Sexual Content
Content that includes nudity or sexual material shared without the clear consent of the people involved is strictly prohibited.
Invasion of Privacy
Do not share private information or content involving someone else without their permission. This includes photos, videos, location data, or personal details.
Promotion of Self-Harm or Suicide
You may not post content that encourages, glorifies, or promotes self-harm or suicide. If you’re struggling, we encourage you to seek help—support is available.
Violent or Threatening Content
You may not share content that depicts or threatens violence, or that encourages harm to others or yourself.
What to do if someone breaks the rules
If you come across content or behavior that violates these guidelines, you can report it directly in the app. Every pin, comment, and profile includes a reporting option. Reports are confidential and are reviewed by our moderation team.
You can also block users if someone is making you feel unsafe or uncomfortable. Blocking someone will prevent them from seeing your content or interacting with you on pintoo.
What happens after you make a report
When you report something, our moderation team will review it. If we determine that it violates these guidelines, we may take action including removing the content, issuing a warning, temporarily suspending the account, or permanently banning the user.
Content or behavior that has been reported multiple times may be automatically hidden from the platform, even before moderation review.
In serious cases—such as threats, harassment, or explicit content involving minors—we may take immediate action and, if necessary, report it to the relevant authorities.
If your account has been subject to moderation and you believe the decision was a mistake, you have the right to appeal. You can do so by contacting our support team through the app.
pintoo is a place for real friends to share real moments. Thank you for doing your part to make it a safe and positive space.
