Account info: Your phone number, email, username, and profile details.
Location: With your permission, we collect your real-time location so you can share it with friends. You can manage this in your device settings.
Content: Photos, captions, comments, pins, and other posts you share. You control who sees your content, and you can delete it at any time.
Usage data: How you use the app, interactions with friends, device type, and app version. We use this to improve performance and fix issues.
How we use your data
To run the service: Show your friends where you are and what you’re doing, and display their updates to you.
To improve pintoo: Understand which features you use, fix bugs, and make the app better.
To keep you safe: Detect and prevent abuse, spam, or activity that breaks our Community Guidelines or the law.
Who can see your information
Your friends can see what you choose to share with them. We don’t sell your personal information. We may share data with trusted partners who help us operate the service (like cloud hosting or analytics), under strict confidentiality.
Your choices
Location: You can disable location sharing at any time in your device settings or app controls.
Content: You can delete your posts and your account whenever you like. Deleting your account removes your profile and content from our servers, subject to legal obligations.
Notifications: You can choose which notifications you get in your device or app settings.
Data retention
We keep your data only as long as needed to operate the service and meet legal requirements. If you delete your account, we remove your personal information unless we need to keep it to comply with the law.
Updates to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy over time. If changes affect your rights, we’ll let you know—usually 30 days in advance. If you keep using pintoo after the update, you agree to the new policy.
