pintoo is a place to share real moments and locations with the people you care about. Our goal is to help you feel closer to your friends by sharing what’s happening right now, in a way that’s authentic, spontaneous, and safe. These Terms of Use, along with our Privacy Policy and Community Guidelines, form the User Agreement. By using pintoo, you agree to the entire User Agreement.
If you don’t agree with any part of it, please don’t use our services. If anything is unclear, feel free to reach out—we’re here to help.
Who can use pintoo
To use pintoo, you must be a real person—not a bot or AI—and you must be old enough to legally use the app in your country. This usually means at least 13 years of age, or the age of digital consent where you live. If you're creating an account on behalf of another person or an organization, you must have the legal authority to do so.
Privacy and data use
When you use pintoo, we collect certain personal data so the app can work as intended. This includes things like your location, content you upload, and usage data. We explain what we collect and how we use it in our Privacy Policy.
By using pintoo, you agree that your data may be processed and stored in countries where we operate, and shared with trusted partners who help us provide the service.
Your content
You own the content you post on pintoo—your photos, captions, comments, and profile image are yours. But you’re responsible for what you share. You should only post content that you have the right to use, and it must follow the law and respect others' rights.
By posting content, you grant us a limited license to display and distribute it within the app to make pintoo work—for example, showing your pins to your friends. We won’t use your content for ads or promotion without your explicit permission.
We have the right to remove content that violates our policies or applicable laws, and we may take further action on your account if needed.
Reporting violations
If you see something that violates our Community Guidelines or the law, you can report it directly through the app. Our team reviews all reports, and we may remove content or take other actions if we find a violation.
You can also report content that violates your rights, including intellectual property, impersonation, or harassment.
Account suspension or removal
If you violate the User Agreement, we may suspend or remove your account. This may happen temporarily (for example, after sharing harmful or inappropriate content) or permanently in serious cases.
Some types of content—such as child exploitation, credible threats, or hate speech—may result in immediate removal and permanent banning. We may also suspend your account if we detect unusual or potentially harmful activity.
If your account is inactive for more than two years, we may delete it. You can delete your account yourself at any time from the app settings.
License to use pintoo
We grant you a limited, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use pintoo while you comply with the User Agreement. This license allows you to access and use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes only.
All logos, branding, features, and technology behind pintoo remain our property or the property of our partners. You may not copy, sell, or use them without permission.
We may use feedback or suggestions you provide to improve pintoo, without compensating you.
Limitation of liability
By using pintoo, you agree that we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages that may arise from your use of the app, to the extent permitted by law.
Our liability is limited to the fullest extent allowed in your country of residence.
Governing law
The laws that apply to this agreement depend on where you live. In most cases, local laws and courts will apply. If a dispute arises, it will be resolved in accordance with the laws of your country, unless otherwise required.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. If we make changes that affect your rights or obligations, we’ll give you notice—usually 30 days in advance. If you continue to use pintoo after the changes go into effect, you are agreeing to the updated terms.
If you don’t agree with the changes, you should stop using the app and delete your account.
